Anthology 1

The Daily Melodies is an ongoing exercise in creative composition by guitarist Daniel Calabro.

In 2008 after reading a book on the creative mind, I decided to start composing small musical 'sketches' on a daily basis to develop my skills, and keep my creativity sharp - but also for the sheer love of composing.

Over 150 pieces were composed that year. Regularly forcing myself to start from different perspectives yielded a wide variety of ideas and some of my favourite pieces.

Anthology 1 contains my favourite selections from the first year of The Daily Melodies project.
